Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces pork chops Use boneless or bone-in as preferred.
  • 1 package Boursin cheese Any flavor of Boursin cheese can be used.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Vegetable broth can be substituted.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional for garnish) Thyme, rosemary or parsley work well.

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Sear the pork chops in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the Boursin cheese until it melts and combines well with the broth.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the cheesy sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Make sure the pork chops are at room temperature before cooking for even cooking. You can customize the seasoning by adding herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor. If you want a thicker sauce, let it simmer a bit longer before adding the pork chops back into the skillet.
