For the Lobster
  • 4 pieces lobster tails Fresh or thawed if frozen
For the Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream Can substitute with coconut milk for a lighter version
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika Adjust for personal taste
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Chopped parsley For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Split the lobster tails lengthwise and place them in a baking dish, flesh side up.
Cooking
  1. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the lobster.
  2. Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the lobster is cooked through and opaque.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve lobster on a bed of rice or with garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or in a pan. Make ahead by preparing the sauce a day in advance and combining when ready to bake.
