- Wash cucumbers thoroughly, peel if desired, and dice into bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
- Pour ranch dressing over the salad mixture and gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add fresh dill if using.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately, or chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
Notes
This salad can be made a few hours ahead; just stir well before serving. Consider adding chopped avocados for creaminess, or nuts/sunflower seeds for extra crunch. A vinaigrette can be used instead of ranch for a lighter twist.
