  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Optional, for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the green peas, diced red onion, and cubed cheddar cheese.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. If desired, add crumbled bacon for extra flavor.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days. The salad is best enjoyed fresh.
