  • 4 10-oz lobster tails Thawed if frozen
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted Use unsalted if preferred
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed Toast for extra flavor
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika Substitute with regular paprika if necessary
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper Adjust to taste for heat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. If the lobster tails are frozen, thaw them overnight in the fridge or submerge in cold water.
  2. Preheat your oven to Broil at 500°F (260°C).
  3. Cut down the center of the shell lengthwise and pry it open, pulling the lobster meat upwards. Place it on a baking sheet.
  4. Whisk together melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, and cayenne in a bowl.
  5. Brush the butter mixture over the lobster meat.
  6. Broil for approximately 1 minute per ounce of tail weight until the meat is opaque and lightly browned.

Notes

Serve on a bed of saffron rice or alongside roasted asparagus. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the fridge.
