- In a large bowl, combine the shredded wheat cereal and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and honey or maple syrup together, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- Pour the melted mixture over the shredded wheat and stir until well combined.
- Using your hands, form small nests on a parchment-lined baking sheet, creating a well in the center for the toppings.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set. Once set, fill the nests with your favorite Easter chocolates and serve.
Notes
To store, place nests in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. In a warm climate, refrigerate to maintain shape and prevent chocolate melting. Work quickly when forming nests as the mixture may begin to cool and harden.
