  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  6. Serve the chicken and salmon with garlic butter drizzled over the top, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Best served hot with a side of steamed vegetables or rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
