Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces lobster tails (6-8 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted) Should be melted
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Freshly squeezed preferred
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground preferred
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish) For aesthetic presentation

Method

Preparation
  1. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
  2. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell while keeping it attached at the base. Lay the meat on top of the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Cooking
  1. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  2. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the meat is opaque and firm. Baste with reserved butter halfway through.
  3. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a delightful twist, pair lobster tails with garlic bread or a fresh salad. Do not skip basting to keep the lobster juicy.
