Preparation
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
- Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell while keeping it attached at the base. Lay the meat on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Cooking
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the meat is opaque and firm. Baste with reserved butter halfway through.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a delightful twist, pair lobster tails with garlic bread or a fresh salad. Do not skip basting to keep the lobster juicy.
