Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces lobster tails, fresh or thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • for garnish Paprika (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Lower to 400°F if your oven tends to run hot.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of each lobster shell lengthwise. Pull apart gently to expose the meat.
  3. Lift the meat over the shell while keeping it attached at the base.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  5. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
Cooking
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet & bake for 10–12 minutes until the meat is opaque and the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  2. Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with parsley and paprika before serving.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the lobster to avoid rubbery texture. You can experiment with spices such as cayenne pepper or use olive oil for a lighter taste.
