  • 11.5 lb fully cooked bone-in ham (spiral cut)
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Let the ham sit covered at room temperature for 2 hours.
  2. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
Making the Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan, combine apricot preserves, honey, brown sugar, dijon mustard, and butter.
  2. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
Baking the Ham
  1. Line your roasting pan with foil.
  2. Place the ham cut-side down, brush on 1/3 of the glaze, and cover with foil.
  3. Bake at 325°F for 10-11 minutes per pound.
  4. Increase temperature to 425°F, brush with another 1/3 of the glaze, and bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
  5. Brush with remaining glaze and roast uncovered for another 10 minutes until a brown crust forms (internal temperature reaches 130-135°F).
  6. Let the ham rest for 15-20 minutes before serving.
  7. Spoon pan juices over the slices.

Notes

Make sure to let the ham sit at room temperature before baking for the best results. For extra flavor, feel free to add your favorite spices to the glaze, such as cinnamon or cloves. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the ham is cooked to the proper temperature.
