  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast

  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (or vegan butter), melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, almond flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, egg, and vinegar.
  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough lightly on a floured surface.
  5. Roll the dough out into a rectangle and fold it over itself several times to create layers.
  6. Cut the dough into triangles and roll them up from the base to the tip.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
