Pork Chops and Seasoning
  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
Cooking
  1. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet and add butter, spooning some of the broth over the chops.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serving
  1. Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Let the pork chops sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness.
