Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
Cooking
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and add butter, spooning some of the broth over the chops.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serving
- Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Let the pork chops sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness.
