For the glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool completely before icing.
Glazing
  1. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth and drizzle over cooled brownies.
