Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked rice evenly on the bottom.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and place them on top of the rice.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the chicken broth until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve hot, paired with a simple side salad or steamed vegetables. Optionally, top with breadcrumbs or crushed crackers for a bit of crunch. Lastly, it can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
