  • 4 pieces pork chops Use bone-in pork chops for more flavor.
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Can add extra cheese on top for a cheesy finish.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can swap for cream of chicken or broccoli soup.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, layer the cooked rice evenly on the bottom.
  3. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and place them on top of the rice.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the chicken broth until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve hot, paired with a simple side salad or steamed vegetables. Optionally, top with breadcrumbs or crushed crackers for a bit of crunch. Lastly, it can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
