Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces pork chops
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a separate saucepan, combine sliced strawberries, balsamic vinegar, and honey. Bring to a simmer and cook until the strawberries are soft and the sauce thickens.
  5. Once the pork chops are cooked, pour the strawberry balsamic reduction over them and let it simmer for another minute.
  6. Serve the pork chops warm, drizzled with the sauce.

Notes

Marinate the pork chops in balsamic vinegar and a touch of honey for an hour for extra flavor. If you have leftovers, let them cool, place in an airtight container, and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
